Yeah i done that, was 20k something. Still got my old q9450 in and same board and ram, just upgraded the card.
That video no way captures the detail, not even in hi-def. Also WMP didnt do a good job of converting, looks a bit choppy, doesnt do the game justice.....
haha...i like to hear about "happy ends"...good job bro ;)
lol no need to apologise bout AMD/ATI...for me all thoses big manufacters are all bastuards and they play with us ....on gfx amd & nvidia are using same s**t politics and have so many bugged products and drivers! the only respect i can have for AMD is on CPU prices....they can produce excellent cpus for half price on top processors (i know the best intel cpu kick the butt of all amd ones but IN NO WAY the difference of price and the performances are proportionnal...) and intel prices on top cpu are just not acceptable...when i see a i7 at 19k on 3dmark06....i m honnestly ROFL whan i watch my 18k with my 130 euros phenom...muhahahaha......this is so good feeling :p
...and nice video...this game looks awesome with yer kit...
u migh fall of yer chair while trying games like Mass Effect2....just got it....i rarely saw such a level of details and effects...

so it's averaging about a third more points than your old single card 8800GT setup ?

still a good cpu, honestly don't think adding an i7 would give you a "value for money" difference in the score, at a guess, if you added a £300 i7, then a decent mobo £130 & 4 gig DDR3 £100 (& thats only for value ram, £140+ for better stuff)
your end score benefit would only be about 1000 (maybe 1500 with tweaks) so if it's playing everything sweet, i wouldn't even consider upgrading further.
EDIT= are you still running vista, or did you upgrade to win7 ? i only ask, cos on benchmarks win7 often gives better results because of the way it treats the GFX card as a seperat CPU.

personnaly i cant see any kind of great improovment from shista 64....except that i dislike that shaking option (when u shake a window it change it size )...honnestly i never had problems with vista and i still using it on second pc on UT3 bench i have found no changes and more funny i have loose 500 pts on 3dmark06 and my UT3cooking program dont work anymore : ( i have to use my second pc to do the job...is MS in the same snake basket as nvidia and AMD ??...lol^^..:p
