I'm playing cnc at the moment and its a brill game , tells us the specs of the pc u are gonna get , are u building it urself ?

I have the specs, getting the parts from scan.co.uk and i got someone i think who will build it for me. I just need to worry about getting an operating system and some anti virus software.

I have just removed the monitor from it so it is roughly £470 for all that including VAT. I got these specs from a guy i used to work with and the guy who is going to help build this for me lol. So i dunno what you think, i could use a few opinions. I don't usually deal with this stuff i just play the games biggrin

seem a nice rig on all parts... but i m not a specialist too lol...all i m sure is that with such a computer u ll cream all new games in very correct settings :)

use AVG free for your AV, i promise it's at least as good as the paid for ones (& better in a lot of cases)

I use the free AVG stuff too, Not a single problem in 2 years

you cant go wrong with it.. also the free firewall i use is also good, zonealarm

both free, updated daily, and oops dare i say it, as good as the ones u pay for

.

also, consider the c2q 9450, awesome processor, or does your budget not stretch ?

i'm currently getting addicted to Sega Rally (again) it's brill, & handles just like the original sega saturn version :) only problem is, i can't get my son off the damned thing lols :)

i'm gonna pay my debt to M$ soon, & get my xbox live account back online, i'll give you a shout when i do :)

I dont usually play on the 360 as i refuse to pay for 2 accounts.

If i play on-line, i have to use my sons account and he doesnt like it :(

Yup, you gotta subscribe to XBOX LIVE to play online.

Its £4.99 per month so its no big deal and well worth it.

For that you can play online, talk whilst playing and you have access to freinds / msn and messaging etc...

héhé yes microsoft love money ....u also have to pay a subscription to play halo2 online if u want full servers options(on pc)...live gold.....never payed that s**t....more funny for those technical gods:they still using gamespy...lol

£4.99 aint a lot I suppose but its the principal of it for me , I mean whats the money for ?
U already buy the game (which cost more than pc games btw) then u gotta pay more to play online , its a rip off
then have u gotta pay for the phone call as well ?
on top of that ?
I'll stick to ma pc games free online play , free antivirus , free firewall etc etc etc
