We had no choice.

2 Admins left ( Rip and Blitz ) then most UT players became inactive, which left us with a dormant clan and forum.

Then Mc announced his good news ( He and wife are preggaz ) and it was then decided it was time to close the doors.

We could have carried on but infinity ward put the final nail in the coffin by announcing no dedicated servers on Modern Warfare 2, so, the clan deceased.

Hope you are well mate...... hope the ....erm... Mrs situation has improved from when we last spoke. Fire up xfire and we will chat.

no change in my situation unfortunately :( doesn't look like thats gonna change anytime soon, if ever :( but hey ho, soon be christmas....... which i'm fookin dreading tbh lol...

don't think i'm gonna be granted that wish :( when we got home last night, my housemate had a letter waiting for him, an intent to evict notice....... he was struggling to pay his bills before i moved in & had about £100 in rent arears, we got it down to about £650 over the last few months, but now they say they want it all before jan 13th....... & theres no way we can get anywhere near that :(

Talk about not being able to catch a break .......

sorry dude, i meant to update this, managed to make a deal about the rent, so not getting evicted now lol :)

Glad to hear it mate.....

Just be aware of a few things regardless of what the landlord tells you...

Before he evicts you, he needs permission from your local county court, and to even apply for permission, you need to be at least 8 weeks behind witht he rent. So if at best, keep arrears under 8 weeks.

Said permission can take some time, you will be served an eviction notice by the court sherrif, you are then given 20 days to reply ( this buys you exrta time to find the dosh)

And even then, permission to evict will only be granted ( providing eviction reason is for rent owing only ) if you are not paying at all and are being unreasonable. If you are trying to sort it with landlord, i cant see the court granting Writ of Possession. However if it went this far, and a Writ of Possession was given, you would at least have 5 days to leave.

And half the time he will be bluffing, as , last thing he needs is an empty place....

What ever he gives you have it doubled checked.

I once had a lanlord try and serve me with illegal documents for back rent he said I owed him.
I was only 18 at the time so didn't know much, so took them to a family member who knew a few things.

Turned out to be photo copy's from an old official letter he had just altered. My uncle paid him
a visit and we didn't hear anymore from him.....

So keep all you can and take it to the citizens advice, they know whats legal and what isnt too.

it's actually a guinness trust house (local housing association) before i moved in he's been really struggling, as the rent accounts for over half his wage, & his arrears where nearly £1200 but since i moved in & started helping we got it down to about £650, then they sent the letter out of the blue :/ tbh i just reckon they wanted to try & grab some extra money out of our xmas holiday wage packets :/

all sorted now tho, just paid £280, & we gotta pay an extra £30 a week rent till it's clear, which is pretty much what we where doing anyway :/

anyone here playing modern warfare 2 ? prefarably on ps3, if so, have a mooch over at the MAD forums, there are quite a few new guys playing & they are a good bunch if you fancy a game with like minded people :) (ie, Not 14yr old hackers lol)

also, if anyone playing MW2 on pc, apparently there is now a workaround to allow dedicated servers, nothing official, & you have to serve from a home connection (for now) but it's a step in the right direction :)
